EDWARD STEWART
Lead Flagger and Costume Maker
Edward Stewart, a healthcare executive pursuing a doctorate in nursing, took up his first flags when he became one of the four founding members of the troupe in July of 2002. By November, appeared in the troupe's first public performance, at the Black Ball held at Rich's. Became the troupe's chief costume-maker and designer, and a lead flagger. Known for his energetic and electric flagging style. Long considered Flyboy 2, he is still affectionately known as the troupe members' "flag uncle" Moved to Dallas after 5 years with the Flyboys. Last show: June 2007.
ROBERTO LARA
Troupe Flagger
Roberto Lara, an opthamologist with a successful practice, had flagged on occasion prior to joining the Flyboys as an apprentice in June 2006. He decided he wanted to master the Flyboys tecniques and moves, and become part of a production, after getting acquainted with Marco Roberts, the troupe's leader. He became the 10th official member with his first performance as a flagger in the Halloween 23 show in New Orleans in October 2006. Roberto's flagging style is high energy with a Latin flavor, and so is his personality. Last show: May 2007.
TIM SWANN
Troupe Flagger
A systems analyst with an MBA, Tim Swann first took up flagging on his own in the fall of 2003. Became the 5th official member with his first performance with the troupe at the Purple Haze party, held at Rich's in February of 2004. High energy and intense flagger. Moved to Florida. Last show June 2005.
TOBY BLACK
Troupe Flagger
A Municipal Court supervisor, Toby Black was the third to take up his first flags when he became the fourth of the four founding members of the troupe in 2002. A graceful flagger very popular with photographers. Last show: March 2005.
JEREMY BODWIN
Troupe Flagger
An award-winning color-guard choreographer, Jeremy Bodwin joined the troupe in the spring of 2004, and became the 7th official member with his "Lift Off" performance in June of 2004. Last show: January 2005.

Joe Roman became the 8th official member with his performance at "Lift Off" in June of 2004.

Houston Flyboy Membership
A Flyboy is considered retired from the troupe six months after the his last participation in a public performance with the troupe, unless an extension of another six months is requested.
